American Sport Works

3 years: engine warranty by Robin/Subaru.
90 days: frame, brush bars, spindles, seat frame.
30 days: all other components.

General Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover failures caused by the following: accident or collision damage; abnormal strain, neglect, or abuse; improper assembly of parts included in the factory sealed carton; improper maintenance or use, such as: competition or racing, concession or rental.

Specific Exclusions:
This warranty does not apply to normal wear items, including but not limited to : the tires, centrifugal clutch, brake lining, throttle cable, chain, belts, seat, fasteners, or decals.

Carter Talon Series and Roketa GK series Limited Warranty

This warranty only applies to defects in the parts or workmanship where the new unit has been delivered to, and set up by a Blue Sky Marine and where the service and use of the unit has been conducted according to the owners manual and according to the Customer Safety Information and Warranty Registration Form.

This warranty only applies when all service has been conducted by an authorised service person.

This warranty is NOT transferable.

All defective parts must be returned pre-paid to Blue Sky Marine (when requested) for warranty inspection before a final warranty decision will be made.

This warranty only applies to the parts or workmanship under the following terms:

Parts
The parts on the unit are covered for 90 days. Blue Sky Marine will cover replacement parts and labour for parts that are found to be defective in material or workmanship. Normal wear parts such as listed below are not covered by warranty as they are subject to excessive wear and abuse (This list is not inclusive):

Chains
Sprockets
Clutches
Torque converters
Throttle and brake cables
Brake pads
Tires
Fasteners
Shocks
Struts
Lights
Turn signals
Centre Rear View Mirror

Engine and Engine Components
The engine and related components on the unit are covered for 180 days. Blue Sky Marine will cover replacement parts and labour for parts that are found to be defective in material or workmanship. Normal wear parts such as listed below are not covered by warranty as they are subject to excessive wear and abuse (This list is not inclusive):

Filters
Belts
Spark plug
Fluids
Fasteners

This warranty does not apply to any part, which in the opinion of Blue Sky Marine was defective because of improper maintenance improper assembly, alterations abuse negligence, accident or failure to follow the instructions in the owner’s manual.

This warranty does not cover loss of use of the unit. loss of time, inconvenience, or other consequential damage which includes, but is not limited to, loss of damage to persons or property or any expense of returning any damaged units to the authorised dealer.

All warranties are voided if the vehicle has been altered for use in racing or competition, or rented.

Limited Generator Warranty (ROBIN)

Robin America, Inc., a division of Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd. (herein “Subau Robin”), warrants that each new generator sold by it will be free, under normal use and service, from defects in material and workmanship for a period listed below from the date of sale to the original retail purchaser. Subaru Robin’s obligation under this Limited warranty shall be limited to the repair and replacement, at Subaru Robin’s option, of any part or parts, which upon examination is/are found, in Subaru Robin’s judgment, to have been defective in material or workmanship. Anything replaced under warranty becomes the property of Subaru Robin. All parts replaced under warranty will be considered as part of the original product and any warranty on those parts will expire coincident with the original product warranty. It shall be a condition of Subaru Robin’s obligation under this Limited Warranty that Subaru Robin, directly or through one of its Distributors or Service Centers authorized to service the particular engine/generator involved, receive prompt notice of any warranty claim and that the engine/generator or the part or parts claimed to be defective be promptly delivered, transportation prepaid, to such Distributor or Service Center for inspection and repair. All repairs qualifying under this Limited Warranty must be performed by Subaru Robin or one of its authorized Distributors or Service Centers.

WARRANTY PERIODS:

Subaru Robin Four-Cycle, Air-cooled, Gasoline Generator Limited 3 years Warranty

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: This Limited Warranty shall not apply to:

1. Repairs required because of prolonged storage including damage caused by old or contaminated fuel in the fuel tank, fuel lines or carburetor, sticky valves or corrosion and rust of engine parts.

2. Repairs required due to electrical circuit overloading. (Most often caused by overloading generator or improper wiring of appliances, tools, electrical circuits etc.).

3. Dirt or grit related engine wear caused by improper air cleaner maintenance (most often resulting in worn piston, piston rings, cylinders, valves, valve guides, fuel contamination, carburetor or other internal components).

4. Broken or scored parts caused by low oil level, dirty or improper grade of oil.

5. Engine tune-ups and normal maintenance service including, but not limited to, valve adjustment, normal replacement of service items, fuel and lubricating oil, etc.

6. Any engine/generator that has been installed, repaired, or altered by anyone in a manner which in Subaru Robin’s sole judgment adversely affects its performance or reliability.

The repair or replacement of any part or parts under this Limited Warranty shall not extend the term of the engine/generator warranty beyond the original term as set forth above.

8. Any engine/water pump which has been fi tted with or repaired with parts or components not manufactured or approved by Subaru Robin which in Subaru Robin’s sole judgment adversely affects its performance or reliability.

9. Warranty does not extend to parts affected or damaged by accident and/or collision, normal wear, fuel contamination, use in an application for which the product was not designed or any other misuse, neglect, incorporated or use of unsuitable electrical attachments or parts.

10. Instances where normal use has exhausted the life of a component.

11. In case, without any prior approval of Subaru Robin, the generator is employed for powering equipment to be operated on/in water and is located where it gets exposed to water.

12. In case the claim arises from such regulations as on noise level and exhaust gas emission etc.

The customer is responsible for all transportation charges in connection with any warranty work.

Subaru Robin reserves the right to modify, alter or improve any engine/generator or parts without incurring any obligation to modify or replace, any engine/generator or parts previously sold without such modification.

No person is authorized to give any other warranty or to assume any additional obligation on Subaru Robin’s behalf unless made in written and signed by an officer of the company

Connection to house power requires a transfer device to avoid possible injury to power company personnel. Please consult a quali

Limited Water Pump Warranty (ROBIN)

Robin America, Inc., a division of Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd. (herein “Subaru Robin”), warrants that each new water pump sold by it will be free, under normal use and service, from defects in material and workmanship for a period listed below from the date of sale to the original retail purchaser. Subaru Robin’s obligation under this Limited warranty shall be limited to the repair and replacement, at Subaru Robin’s option, of any part or parts, which upon examination is/are found, in Subaru Robin’s judgment, to have been defective in material or workmanship. Anything replaced under warranty becomes the property of Subaru Robin. All parts replaced under warranty will be considered as part of the original product and any warranty on those parts will expire coincident with the original product warranty. Subaru Robin Submersible Water Pump Limited 90 Day Warranty

The repair or replacement of any part or parts under this Limited Warranty shall not extend the term of the engine/water pump warranty beyond the original term as set forth above.

The repair or replacement of any part or parts under this Limited Warranty shall not extend the term of the engine warranty beyond the original term as set forth above.

1. Bent or broken crankshaft or resultant damage caused by vibration related to a bent or broken crankshaft. Also, damage caused by loose engine mounting bolts or improper or imbalanced accessories or blades mounted to the crankshaft.

7. Any engine which has been subject to negligence, misuse, accident, mis-application or over-speeding.

8. Any engine that has been installed, repaired, or altered by anyone in a manner which in Subaru Robin’s sole judgment adversely affects its performance or reliability.

9. Any engine which has been which in Subaru Robin’s sole judgment adversely affects its performance or reli ability.

10. Instances when normal use has exhausted the life of a component or an engine. The customer is responsible for all transportation charges in connection with any warranty work.
